"Life means to have something definite to do...a mission to fulfill...and in the measure in which we avoid setting our life to do something, we make it empty. Human life, by its very nature, has to be dedicated something."
So do you have a purpose...a mission? Mine is to inspire and spread hope. I see so many clients that do not even know that it is what we all need to do. They go to work, get married, and have families but do not realize their mission.
This mission does not have to be big, it could mean that you want to make people feel better each day by smiling at everyone. That is a mission. Or it could be larger. I heard Ron Reagan, the past president's son, talk about his father. He said his dad was really a private person and when asked what his father did when alone he replied that he planned for his next moves in his life. That president Reagan sole purpose was to make a difference, on a large scale, in the world. That private time was used to think out how he could help others next.
So today think about what your mission is or could be. Don't make your life mean nothing make it mean something.
